Applying ACF50

The ACF50 spray can worked ok for me - as long as you get it nice and warm.

It was about 3 deg when I did it and as soon as the can started to cool down it stopped spraying nicely so had to warm it up again.

Would prefer the 1 litre bottles if someone knows of an easy on-line option.
NippyNormans only seemed to keep the spray cans.

Seems to be good stuff once you get it on :thumb

Paul.

You can get 1 litre and 4 litre from Bridge Road Motorcycles. They have an online shop on ebay. At the moment they are giving away a tube of ACF 50 corrosion block grease free with a 1 litre bottle.:thumb

Bought the litre bottle last week i think it was Jaws MC Shop . A little goes a long way .Small pump is great for putting the stuff on with ,gets into all those places a brush or rag cant .. Try this jaws-motorcycle.co.uk .Just finished chatting ,Use cold water to clean bike ,no shampoo . Mines done .will just wait and see.

Never could find that size around here, but a mate of mine who runs Abbey Motorcycle instructors sells it on the shelf just outside abingdon. if anyones interested.

After 2 weeks, my bike got so filthy I had to jetwash the cack off (getting paranoid about places I might have missed too) Bike looks better and ACF film is clearly still there - now I'll paint in those 'missed' bits and will give it the odd cold water rinse.
Bike definately looks cooler filthy though:cool: (Bike magazine might have had a point, there might no be much chance of doing the RWT for a few years, but at least it can look like its ridden year-round):thumb
