Sold Aprilia Tuono Factory - with RSV plate

After 40 great years of riding, I'm having to give up for health reasons (my 1 owner 1150GS is on another thread).

This is my second / fun bike - an Aprilia RSV 1000 Tuono Factory, with full Ohlins suspension, sporty silencers and the reliable Rotax V twin engine (sounds amazing)

The bike was registered in August 07 and has only 11,550 miles on the clock. It's been an amazing bike during the time I've been able to use it.

The bike comes with an RSV registration number, front and rear paddock stands, a soft cover (always kept in the garage), English Chain and padlock and the original silencers.

I have just has a full / recommissioning service and MoT carried out at CMC (Clay Cross), costing £905 (ouch!).

Looking to sell this amazing machine for £3,000.

Thanks, the GS has sold. This Aprilia is amazing, especially with the Ohlins....too good for me!

Aprilia RSV Tuono's where the bike of choice back in the 00's, I remember a well experienced biker, saying he loved the V twins as they have such a great feel and look to them, and wouldn't ride anything else.

Just my luck to be in France when the ad went up! I had a loan of one of these 20 years ago and I always wanted one, this one is gorgeous, enjoy!

A mate has one, and very quick he is on it too - had it from new.

What did surprise me is how low the asking price was for such a capable bike, with all the goodies.

Having said that, I think he paid around £7 or £8k 15 years (or so) ago

They were quite expensive new. I went in at a lower price, because I'm not in great health and wanted a quick sale (to pay medical bills).
