The distributor Phoenix has gone bust they sold 9millon pounds of helmets in the last year and made £20000 profit.:confused::confused: heard it was due to the yen
I was told that someone needs stump up 43 million pounds to sell arai in the uk ouch :blast
i was thinking of buy the tour x 4 not now though
just thought i'd let the group know

Their parent company, a flooring company, the James Halstead Group, have decided that there's no money to be made in motorcycle accessories at this time and have decided to withdraw from the market.

I did see an announcement by them that said they would continue to trade until another distributor could be found for Arai, at least but there was also some muttering in the trade about that not happening.....:nenau

£20,000 (NPBT?) from a turnover of £9,000,000 is pretty dire; even ten times that figure would be poor. If true, they'd benefit from advice from a good consultant.
