First impressions
Went for a ride of about 150 miles today.
Weather was dry and I think around 10 degrees.
I found the Tour-X very comfortable and it gave very good field of vision, in particular to the sides.
The peak was very effective when riding into a setting sun.
I had been concerned over whether the peak would prove a problem at motorway speeds but today I found it no problem at all at indicated speeds upto around 95 and buffeting was minimal.
However, the weather was not particularly windy.
There was no misting up at all even when stationary but I couldn't tell how it would handle wet conditions.
The ventilation system worked well and I should think it will be very effective in hot conditions. I had to pull over after a few miles today as I had left all the vents open and the top of my head started to get cold. Closing them naturally improved the heat loss but the top of my head still never felt particularly warm (Yes, I know... grow some more hair

)
You have to be careful putting the helmet on because if you press it down from the top you may change the vents positions.
General noise levels were quite good but there was a slight ticking /creaking noise... not sure if it was the visor flexing or what... checked the fixing points and they were all tight. This noise wasn't particulalry intrusive and it never did it all the time... so I don't think it will prove a problem.
Overall impression... I'm very pleased... and I think the Motard colour looks the business.
