What is the difference in colour between the Aluminium Silver and the Motard Siver? Is the Motard just matt finish?

I've got the motard silver, doesn't appear to be matt to me, it's still got a gloss finish. Seems to be a slightly darker version of silver. It also has a slightly darker grey at the front of the peak and the chinbar blending in to the main silver colour gradually.
I've not seen the two colours next to each other so can only presume it's a slightly different shade of silver
On the whole I like the motard silver, it has "class"

Thanks Nak - think I have seen this colour on the TX2. Does Arai not make a matt/flat silver?
I couldn't say for sure. I guess the Motard colours are as close to flat as it comes for Arai. If you see them in photographs they look fairly matt/flat so they're probably not high gloss. I was just looking at it next to my desk and that's under fairly high intensity artificial light so may be the reason I wouldn't call it "flat" 
Attached picture was taken last weekend outdoors so there it does appear more matt than gloss.
Have you checked the Shoei Hornets, although that may be the same issue?

Certainly looks flat in your pic rather than a high gloss/clearcoat finish - I too have seen a TX2 Motard and definately is gloss. I have a BMW System 5 in a flat finish and really like it as it does not show marks as easily as gloss. I am looking at getting the TX3 and would really like a similar flat finish. Guess will need to go find a supplier.
