Arai Tour X3 or X4

Can anyone tell me the differences between the X3 and X4, I'm looking to replace my ageing X3 with a replacement and wonder if the new helmet is any quieter, also is the fit the same. I haven't seen any in retailers for me to try on so it looks like I'll have to order online.

Went from TX2 to TX4 - bit quieter and a bit more ventilation including vents at top of visor now. Fit the same

I'd agree with that and the X3 will be a lot cheaper

Having had both I actually found the TX3 more comfortable due to the cheek pad design....other than that no real difference. If you can find a new TX3 I would go for that and save a packet.

anyone see deals on older TX3, all can find is XS sizes and i need XL

I have a Tour X4 and I've given up with the pinlock visor which will not fit correctly. The pinlock touches the outer visor causing chromatic rings which are visible when looked through.

Although their prices on the TX3 are good, their prices on the X4 are very expensive, compared to the UK.

just bought a Tour X 4 and love it , quality kit , but to be honest the 2 and 3's were just as good , and a 3 will be £200 cheaper than a 4

My local bike shop has been told by a rep to expect a new TX model next year, TX4 prices have been falling over the last couple of months so there may be some truth in it, may as well wait a bit longer.

Are you sure....on the drop down arrow for sizes you can get all sizes on the initial screen.

was looking at that yesterday but i was thinking 200 for a helmet with wear is bit much so not in rush will hold off
