Hello all!

I have a Arai Tour X3 with the stock visor, as with my last lid I have been craving to get an iridium visor for it, however as I ride frequently at night I don't want to have to undo the screws to replace the clear visor.

So what I was wondering is if anyone has used a set of goggles, especially ones that are tinted. And more importantly, will a set of Oakley's (for example) fit on a Arai T-X3 with the stock visor in the up position?

Cheers :beerjug:

Yep,

My Oakleys fit fine with the visor up (and down for that matter. Sometimes use that combination in the winter commute for when the main visor cruds up too much with salt. Just about gets me from home to work :D)

A bit sad about the Iradium visor:comfort ....but just carry a pair of clear saftey glasses in your pocket....btw they don't have to be oakleys...or do they?:D

Well out of all the ones I have seen Oakleys look the best :-), yeah probably a brand whore but they're cheap enough.

Nakambale do you know what model of goggles you have?

Cheers guys :-)

Hi Gert - just to confirm, is your helmet a Tour X3?

Thinking about a pair of those goggles too - if that's your helmet/goggles combo then it should work for me too...

Also, do you use tear-offs? If so, how many can you have fitted at any one time before either the light takes too long to get through or you can't keep your head off your chest - or, should I say, what's the maximum practical number you can have fitted?

One last stupid question, they appear to be clear, do you by a tear off to make them iridium, or buy a new lens?

EDIT:

Don't worry, found them under accessories :-)

If you mean those Scott ones of mine above, they've actually got silver mirrored lenses in them. :)
