....got an Arai TourX...very nice to.... one niggle is that the peak tends to vibrate giving a nice (not) resonance in my bonce

.....anyone else experience this? ..any ideas how to stiffen it up?

What's the Tour X like for wind noise?, which helmet did you have before to compare.

You`ll find that is due to turbulence from your screen.
I get a similar effect at times when I wear my Moto 6 on one of my 1100s,but not when on the other one ( at the same speeds )
and I noticed that the screens are at slightly different angles.
I can`t be bothered to get them the same,I just lower the peak a tad,or tilt my head down slightly when clogging it.

Be carefull on the old motorways mate.......there's a knack to doing a life saver at over a ton wearing a Tour-x.......dont look Over your right shoulder......look ACROSS it......or the peak will rip yer head orf!!!

Does sound like Tarka's hit it right.....you might need to tweak your tobers a bit.

PS if you go for a flat out run, don't wear the Tour-x either.....after 3 mins at 125 the GPS finally said i was at 126 so I popped up from behind the screen a little, the peak caught the air and my head got ripped off and bounced down the carriageway.

.....thanks for the comments guys, but a lot of the time i ware my old open face which i like the best ....and that's got a peak and it doesn't resonate?

....i think i may be because it's shorter and stiffer ... hence my question as to a way to stiffen it up...
