Going through the garage the other day, I realised that I still had a brand new, utterly unused, R1150R/GS/Rockster exhaust catalyser & end can. (they polish up very nicely when clean!)

Looking on Ebay 2nd hand ones seem to fetch only about £50 or so. But would unused 'as new' items fetch more??

I'm in two minds as to whether to sell them or not.

My Rockster has had the same catalyser from new (mileage now well over 100K), so I'm tempted to fit the new cat - do they 'go off' after a certain mileage?? (in theory the catalysing element shouldn't degrade as it doesn't take part in the chemical reactions, but..... )

I'm not a fan of ebay so I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle of selling them tbh.

Not really worth much and they weigh a lot to post
as new aren't worth that much more.
You may as well try them on your 100thou bike.
