When I ride my 2013 GS at anything more than a brisk walking pace, I find that, should I turn the handle bars to the right, the motorcycle in question will go to the left with what can only be described as an alarming lurch from the vertical. There is a consistency to this problem which makes me wonder about the handlebars as, once returned to the vertical should I turn the handle bars to the left, the motorcycle repeats the performance, but to the right!

The faster I go the worse it becomes until I return to a mere, slow, considered walking pace when the handlebars appear to function as designed

This worries me as I think the bike is more fit for Porpoise than Purpose.

Seriously tho' I think if I had read much of this forum before buying my LC, I would definitely have had a KTM in the garage and would have missed out on what is a superb motorcycle. I totally sympathise with those of you that have issues but mine does exactly what it says on the tin, clunks, rattles, noisy tyres, tissue paper rear pads, "back to front handle bars" and all.

Take the handlebars off totally .

They are for girls .

You'll be fine

An attempt at humour? I don't know. Maybe sarcasm? Hard to tell...

Here in Norn Iron

One can go to many funfair type events where bicycles have been modifed so that the
front wheel turns the opposite direction to the handlebars and the bike, therefore, does not countersteer but steers correctly.
Usually £1 to ride it. If you manage more than 6 metres without falling off you get £25.
Few do.
