I'm wanting a gear lever extender as the distance between the footpeg and shifter isn't enough for me, and neither the Touratech or Wunderlich look completely suitable however I've stumbled across one from SW Motech (link below). I have seen SW Motech accessories pop up now and again but have no idea what the quality is like, has anyone got this lever or similar products from SW and can say whether they're good quality or not please?

My SW-M Evo luggage rails with Givi adapters are good quality, fitted to a R1200RS for nearly 8 years.

I've got that gear shift lever on my GSA, Had it on my GS and found it much better than the standard one, once adjusted right.

I've had SW-Motech items on a number of my bikes and never had an issue with quality at all.
Just fyi, I have the Wunderlich adjustable clever gear lever on my 2019 R1250GS, which is extendable for length and (personally) I've found it a massive improvement over the standard gear lever - whereas changing gear with the standard gear lever was "sloppy", since fitting the Wunderlich gear lever, gear changes are a lot more precise and light.

This is the one I have fitted https://www.nippynormans.com/wunder...s-lc-r1200-adventure-lc-r1250gs1250-adventure

Thanks, I'd just have it on the longest setting I think. I'll need to drop it down though as I'm putting some peg lowerers on.

Thanks, I saw the Wunderlich one first but with the design it looks as though it could be prone to collecting crud? It also looks as though it bends out, does this make the lever sit out further from the bike compared to the original as this could be good as I find the foot part of the lever too short requiring me to twist my knee in to shift?

Had that adjustable lever on 2 x XR1000's. Quality piece

Also have had 4 of their pro tank bags over the last 6 years. Cannot fault tham

Thanks, I'm going to try I think, all positive reports and looks well made. I'll likely get the brake lever too.

Timely post this. I’m trying to find a side stand foot enlarger for my 2022 Rally Pro 900. I foolishly bought a cheap chinese one. It was nowhere near to fitting. I then thought ah, Touratech. They’re a quality company, £71 later it arrived. No better than the cheap Chinese one as regards fitting!!! Luckily Touratech gave me my money back. So the next attempt will be a SW Motech one. Hopefully this will fit.

I had one of these on my S1000XR https://www.rg-racing.com/browsetype/kickstand_shoes/#

It was on the bike when I bought it in 2018 and still in use until last year when I sold the bike
