I'm Browsing Ebay for another seat to adapt for my 1100GS and I have come across an 1150RT seat, it looks very similar, I'm just wondering if anyone knows of another seat that may fit. My idea is to try to make the seat narrower to give me more reach. I may just buy anther 1100 or 1150 seat but there's not many available
Are there any other BMW seats that fit the 1100GS? I need lower

Most of the aftermarket suppliers like Wunderlich and Touratech used to do a lower cut seat, but they’re no longer available as far as I can tell.
Sargent Seats are cut slightly different to the standard so the concave shape of the seat bowl sits the rider lower by about 50mm or so. Whether this will be enough for you will depend. Besides, I’m not even sure Sargent still make them, you would have to ask them.
Personally I think you’re caught between a rock and a hard place, and seeking out an independent seat fabricator to modify your existing seat would probably be the best option.
