Thank you Robbi 👍😊
Do the RE tubular side racks take the RE hard panniers ? Will the satnav mount take a Nav 6 satnav ? Do you know if the warranty was a 3 year and will the warranty be honoured if the 300 mile service is done at an RE dealer.

Hi @Frankh,

To answer your questions:

i) I believe so.
ii) Yes.
iii) The warranty was for three years, although I do not know if it will be honoured if the 300 mile service is done at an RE dealer - EDIT: Please see the post by @Robbi below.

Re: iii)... Royal Enfield customer service have said that as long as a valid receipt showing that the service has been carried out to Royal Enfield requirements using recommend parts and oils then the warranty will be honoured

Thank you @Robbi (y):giggle:

What are the service schedules on the RE Himmy

Lots of posts on the forum, from bods looking for a basic, easy to own, easy to ride, great MOG, easy to service, ‘do anything’ bike. This is just such a bike.

The 450 is a considerable step-up from the original 411. In fact, they shouldn’t even be considered the same model.

Buy with confidence.

Great bikes, I’ve had mine 15 months from new and it hasn’t missed a beat in 6500 miles. I’ve taken mine to Scotland at 70-75mph without issue and taking it steady on A & B roads I regularly get 90+ to the gallon. Ergo’s are perfect for my 5ft 10” / 32” leg. What amazes me most is the comfort, with 200mm of superb suspension front and rear. Copes amazingly well with our crap roads. It’s been my best buy in years and thoroughly recommend one.

Have a bump for a tasty machine

Thank you @Wag

It will certainly be a great buy for someone looking for a virtually brand new motorbike at a greatly reduced price if you take into consideration all the extra bits and pieces fitted to the bike.
