Armour inserts for BMW suit

Hi everyone

I recently purchased a Tourshell suit (jacket and trousers) that did not include any of the original armour inserts - it was described as complete so I knew instantly I had been scammed.

The suit itself is in really good order so it seems a shame to condemn it without at least trying to find the appropriate armour for it.

Therefore do any fine people based in the UK have a set of the orange BMW inserts knocking around - separately due to upgrading your kit or as part of an old suit etc -I could purchase?

I think the orange armour I need was not specific to the Tourshell range and is the same as is used quite widely across the range at that time. That's happened to me as well - so you have my sympathy.

One should not sell a motorcycle jacket without declaring that it has no armour.

I only have a pair of size small hip protectors if they're of any use to someone.

Bought a Rallye jacket which had some armour missing, went to J S Accessories and got a set of Knox armour that fitted the jacket perfectly

Call @Motocentral on 01455 221 820 and quote UKGSER to get -10% of brand new set of armour, providing they stock the appropriate sizes. It doesn’t have to be BMW stuff, SAS-TEC, D3O, KNOX etc should work, might have to be a mix and match jobbie though.

Bit late to the thread, but I replaced the orange armour with the latest armour BMW are now fitting. Ordered from a company in Germany who are the suppliers to BMW. It is softer and fits perfectly. But it seems you are sorted.

Yes, this stuff - SAS-TEC own TRIPLEFLEX. Mine is black though
