Hi I am new to this forum so hello everyone.

I have just bought a 2015 TE just under as year old with 650 miles on the clock which so far I love.

I have bought an Arrow exhaust direct from Arrow in Italy off Fleabay. Fitted it and wanted to see what it sounded like with the baffle removed. It has a circlip at the end of the exhaust but no baffle. I can see right down the inside of the exhaust to the bend at the bottom.
The exhaust is e marked and I got a certificate of homolgation but I understood it should have a removable baffle.
I have Arrow exhausts on a number of Triumphs and all have one.

I have tried to contact Arrow but as yet no response.

Anyone fitted one as I would like to know if I am correct and should pursue Arrow for my missing baffle. I would also like to know if I am road legal or not which I suspect baffless I am not.

Any help/experience photos of what should be in the end of my exhaust would be really appreciated

I wish I had bought it from a UK dealer rather than trying to explain my problem to an Italian factory

I can't really help, but just wandering if the baffle is at the connection end? My Termignoni has 2 baffles, one at the connection to the header pipe and one at the exhaust exit.........so is it possible Arrow only put one in the connection end and don't bother with the exhaust exit end? Would be an odd thing to do, but never say never. Worth a check, while waiting for more knowledgeable folk to post on it.

See the baffle in these images, one in, one out.

i bought Arrow Carbon cans for my Aprilia RSVR last year from Italy through Ebay, i did'nt like the carbon seam running the length on top of the right silencer
and they only came with one spring instead of four! i sent numerous photos via email/iphone with limited dialogue, result was they could'nt see the problem with the seam
but they did send the missing springs, i did save £100 over the English supplier.

Hi Woody. I had the same can on my 2013 WC GS. I ran it for 15k miles with the baffle out and thought it a fantastic sound. I to bought it of Ebay Elemoto (also an Italian vendor) or something similar. I to had hassle with my purchase (carbon end cap was broken). I had to raise a paypal dispute and eventually the supplier sorted it. Sorry to say if it's the same guy he is a prize dick.

Dario

I had one on mine but found it a little too loud for peaceful touring. Did sound great with no baffle and driving "progressively" :)

Thanks Guys for your answers, really helpful especially the photos Crotchrocket appreciate you taking the time to send me these.

Further investigation armed with the photos revealed what I thought ...I have been sent the can without the baffle.

Contacted the vendor "GENIALMOTOR" through ebay and have had an apology and the baffle is on its way. So hopefully all will be O.K

Thanks again for your replys and held...great forum

Sounds great much deeper than the standard can with a growl when you open the bike up
Quite loud without the baffle but nice think for touring I may want the baffle in. Will let you know what I think with the baffle in when it arrives
There is a you tube clip of a guy who fitted an arrow can to his gs and did a comparison with the standard can just type in arrow exhaust gs 1200

The you tube guy I mentioned goes under the name of the Missenden flyer try you tubing him he has a couple of good gs related clips

Got mine from "genialmotor" on eBay £301 for the Aluminium/ carbon Arrow.
Arrived within the week and although it did not have the baffle in the vendor was very apologetic and has posted me one so seems pretty genuine
Think I saved about £90 on uk suppliers

Just a quick question....did you have any fees to pay once it arrived in the UK

Looking at a HP Corse off an Italian Ebay shop

Thanks
