Has anyone got a set of Arrow headers kicking about in the garage?
I’ve a new set sat in my garage waiting time to fit them. But I guess that’s not quite the answer you want
Kinda waiting for funds for a trip to a dyno, there’s a guy in Bristol that comes highly recommended on the S10 forum I’m hoping to visit, sometime in spring.
Hi Bilko.
Ive ordered 6 sets to be delivered to Streffords Motorcycles i will keep you posted.

Dyno time isn't cheap!!I messaged CJS the other day, no reply yet!!
Sent him a text message just now, but not convinced the numbers live anymore. I’ve mentioned it could be two of us with maybe a double booking
Wow, he’s just replied. £449…. Ouch. Or is that about right.
No way I’ll be going to Hilltop!!!Dyno time isn't cheap!!
I think Hilltop are around £350 for a bike these days.
No way I’ll be going to Hilltop!!!
You be happy paying that for yours? I’m a little stunned, but I guess I was expecting £350-400 so not much over I suppose.
Bimota on the Tenere forum says he paid Chris £410 6 years ago, which was 4-5hrs on the dyno. That was on a 1st Gen though.
£449 is a big difference from £155 for a Wiz flash, but I don’t know if Wiz’s flash can allow for the Arrow headers. And as his comms are pretty hopeless it could take a year to get answers to the necessary questions. And I’m so not keen on the idea of posting the ECU, I would prefer to take the bike to him. Thats what I tried to book last April as I was in Moffat and tried to book a visit on the Monday on the way home, but after the initial contact I didn’t get a single reply to any more emails. .
Have you got a likn to that forum?

Well, Nathan (Streffie on here) from Streffords in Worcester gave my bike a service and fitted Arrow headers today and I have to say the difference is immediate.
Throttle response is much crisper and she really takes off at 4500 rpm.
Just got back from a 641 mile day from Hockenheim race circuit in Germany and have to go back on Saturday so it will be good to compare how she performs with fuel etc with the new headers. On teh way home yesterday, I set cruise at 135kph and she returned a little under 50 mpg so I'll be impressed if it gets better than that.
Streffie has a couple of new sets left in stock if anyone is after a set.

Did he need to remap it to stop it running too lean ?
No, I don't think it needs a remap as I have the standard end can on the bike.
But changing headers usually make a bike run much leaner than OE headers as they’ll be free flowing . If they’re not then you won’t notice any difference from OE . But you have …..
Not sure that is true. I experimented a lot with my 1200 and put different headers and end cans on.
I found the best bang for your buck was decated headers with a standard can which did give better performance especially in the mid range.
The end can only was just noise and a full straight through system didn't give anymore power that just decated headers and in fact was no better than standard. I put that down to no back pressure and it running lean.
Purely unscientific I know but it worked for me.
The Arrow headers definitely make a marked improvement on the S10 and as far as I'm aware, the lambda sensors will sort the fuelling out.
