Just picked up my brand-spanking-new-whiter-than-white er..... arctic white 800 :bounce1 Ooooh it's nice. Heading up over Glenshee tomorrow with G (hopefully her 650 will be ready)

Okay, 3 hours old and have: Adv-Spec crashbars and bashplate, TT handguards and fog lamps. And (rather obviously) BMW alu panniers. Oh. And a huge smile on my face :D

Now thats the nicest thing I've seen all day.

The proverbial dogs bollocks as it where:thumb2

Tyres look like Pirelli Scorpion Trail.

That looks lovely in black and white. Really nice :D
Good choice.

Thanks All :beerjug:

Just been to Aberdeen via Glenshee - both ways:roll What a fantastic bike :clap Obviously still running it in, but great fun.

Yes Pirelli Scorpion Trail tyres - good spot :bow not pushed them (yet) but seem ok - dragged my toes a couple of times :augie Wet coming back down - no dramas....

I agree, it tooks great in white. Saw one yesterday in the dealers. My six month old grey one is now in an obolete colour!

Hope the splatted midges wash off ok and don't mark it.

Also, let us know how you get on with the Pirelli Scorpion Trail tyres, mine (B-Wings) are going to need a change really soon. I am guessing within the next 1000 Miles.

Sweet. Bike looks great
pick mine up this Friday, sunburnt orange.Cant wait:)

Enjoy Homer1968, barring the seat (obviously, xmas present g? :augie) it is a great bike. I'd be interested in what tyres you get.... you will have fun :bounce1 But obviously white is....er......whiter....

Regarding the tyres, my 6 week old bike came with Pirelli Scorpion tyres. While they seem to grip OK wet and dry on the road I have noticed cracks appearing between the tread blocks on the front tyre. I have 3500 miles on these including a few 300 mile runs on the motorway, but have kept the tyre pressure at 34 PSI. I don't think its a problem though and the wear rate seems average.

I like the look of the white and the Orange bikes, is the paint finish smooth enough to polish, my Gray is quite rough.

Nice bike. Picking up my Alpine white this friday all being well ! But without the extra's(but thinking about them).

I am fitting a scotoiler. Excellent instructions on their site for this model, unlike the good old days.

Like the bash plate, does it cover the oil filter as well? If so, could be next purchase.

Was thinking about keeping the alu panniers off my 1200GSA before getting rid of it, but after 3 years they dont look so good . . bugger to keep clean . . but there are those that would say dont bother (but I always have been a bit clinical). Probably go for plastic next time.

Happy riding:clap
