..by my own bike!

Busy helping the wife this weekend so decided to take a ride out this afternoon.
From work up to Hexham, Hartside, over to the West then back through Appleby and Middleton.

Arrived home and did the good deed, hosing the bike down followed by bike spray protection.

Dry it off, ride into the garage getting the bike as close to the wall as possible to avoid the wife's work stuff (laid out all neatly for this weekend's show), then proceed to loose balance when stepping off the bike....

RH handle bar cracks me on the right eye as it goes over (and it hurt:comfort).
I end up lying on the floor, cursing, rolling around in a pile of body scrub and moisturiser.

No damage to the bike. Black eye for me & bruised ego. Fortunately none of the wife's product broken, but some of the display stands needed gaffer tape repairs.

Now sulking.....

Sidestand wasn't down as normally I don't have a problem..

Bought a nice pair of muffs to keep my digits warm and I think my lack of ability to catch the over balancing Adv was probably related to having my hands firmly lodged in the muffs...

The double visions gone, bit of a headache remains.

Life is full of little learning experiences, I'll put this down as one.

Like being on the Darwin?

At least you were in the privacy of your own garage.

I've never fallen off ever, ever, and I've never fallen off whilst stalling my bike in Skye :augie

When you eye is better could you pop round here and do it again....I missed it
