At what revs does a 2008 GSA make peak power?

Red ones are deffo quicker despite others saying otherwise ;) Mine is standard apart from AF Xied which make it more tractable. Pulls cleanly all the way through. I have decatted headers and gutted silencer sitting in my garage but don't think either are really necessary now. I came from 4 cylinder gsxrs so it was a big drop in power but didn't take long to adapt. Wouldn't have any other big bike now apart from my RED gsa :D

Lol red ones are better looking :D
This bike spent all it's life from your neck of the woods , but I bought it from Oldham/Manchester dealers. Was serviced by BMW Dalkieth owner was from West Lothian .

I live in Dalkeith, bought mine from Allan Jefferies in West Yorkshire!

Was going to get a champagne one from Williams in Manchester, accepted for the finance then they tried a hard sell tactic the day before, expecting me to travel 230 miles to put a deposit down when I said I would be down the day after. Was in the area so went to Jefferies, they didn't have owt I fancied so went to Huddersfield to see friends. Got a call from Jefferies later that day saying they'd just taken a red one in p/x. Went back, looked and bought it.

As red is seen psychologically as a danger colour, what you believe is a fast bike, is due to everyone else running away.

Ergo silver ones are quicker, so there, so there.

I'm 5 minutes from Dalkeith, but on the "correct" side of the border

I bought my 12 from Cannon motorcycles in Braintree. Looked at it online and decided it ticked all the boxes.
Called them and had what I consider the most undersold deal on a bike iv ever had.
The sailsman made the bike sound like it was a bit rough and needing attention. I bought the bike with out looking
at it (work took first place to traveling 140 miles). I wasnt disapointed the bike was in near perfect condition past a bit of
corrosion on the engine cases.
Cannons are a superb dealers and id be happy to use them again.

Sounds very similar to my buy, somanybikes.com , salesman was very honest , and mentioned corrosion and staining on swing arm from some numpty with brake fluid, but the bikes a minter imo at a good price delivered with a full tank fuel as well.

Looking at people's experience with the AF-XIED there are now two options. Both will cost much the same as the AF ideally needs wide band O2 sensors.

Hi Bendy, the AF-XIED only works with the stock O2 sensor so is less costly and reusable/resealable when compared to a Hilltop Remap. If one wanted a Wideband solution to gain the benefit of AFR datalogging, the the Innovate Motorsports LC-2 can be used but you do need to purchase OEM connectors and do a bit of wiring if you go that route.

5 mins from Dalkeith on the correct side? Surely England is further than that? Unless you come from e, e, e can't bring myself to say it, eeeaaassst lothian. ;-)

There are only two kinds of people in this world.

Those of us born in Glasgow, and the rest who wish they had been.

I am on a holy mission to educate the heathen, not doing that will in East Lothian. Severe lack of virgins too...

Isn't there a joke about virgins holding a group meeting at some such phone box?
It's no joke they scrapped the phone boxes due to lack of interest.

Standard peak is 92bhp@7596 rpm. Remapping makes the same power @6260rpm with a new peak of 104bhp@7860rpm. DAMHIK.
