Attn Sunday to IOW Gsers

Thanks guys for a great day out. :thumb2

We made it back to Calne safely a little after seven, with only a couple of idiots to deal with.

Chris iow, hope your bike is ok. I hadn't realised just how much heavier the 1150ADV is compared to the 1200  Thats probably because I've only had to pick up a 1200, Err! six times now :o

Thanks to all you locals for making us so welcome :thumb2:thumb2

see you again soon.

Val n Jill.

Hi Chris, nice to see you, didn't know there was a GSer in my old place of work although some do say its had it's fair share of tossers :hide especially when I was there :bounce1. As for my off, 0mph so only superficial damage - scratched mirror, damage to the plastic engine protector and also the 1150 transfer on the tail section. When they start to go there's not much you can do is there? :blast I put my foot out and the ground was missing.:nenau

BTW LB tell Nick to forget it....................not his fault just poor route selection on my part......I think safer approaces to Lighthouse navigation has a place in advanced courses.... wonder if the IAM is doing that yet? :)

A huge thanks to all that made the effort today, a thoroughly enjoyable day all round:thumb (considering it started as a suggestion for me and Eryka to visit for a ride:augie):D

Mucho thanks to H for meeting us all from Portsmouth and Nick for the meeting the other Tossers and taking us on a fab ride around the Isle:thumb2

It was great to finally put faces to names and catch up with a few from last year.

See you all soon.

Chris:D

P.S Pics to follow tomorrow, If to bed now to fecked!!!!

Hi Guys and Gals, had a really good day with you all today. It was a last minute decision to go but i'm glad i made it,even though it meant getting out of bed at 03.50 !! Thanks for making my Sister Sandra welcome even though she was on a H*nd+.Set tried Jill's 650 for size and felt comfortable so might be tempted to become a Tosser.
Looking Forward to Next Time, wherever it happens.

Thankyou

Thanks to everyone for a great day out. Thanks to Nick and LB for giving up their time to show us round the Island. Good meeting up with those we have met before and of course always good to meet new people.

Only a small 241 miles for the day....I suppose it's nothing compared to what you travelled DT...Your mad...:D

Hope to see you all at the Wales bash.

Cheers :thumb2

The return Ferry

Phew, glad you all enjoyed your little day out, I was worried you would be disappointed with our Isle and not want to come again, thanks so much for givin us a day out too, if it were just nick and me we would of only popped out for an hour or so, and thank you for all making the effort, we know catchin ferries and stuff is a tedious task, we do it enough ourselves during the summer mths comin to your side and find it the worse part of the trip just sitting about and waitin.
Look forward to seein you all again in the near future, whether it be over here or we come to you.
Shadow, lovely bike and nice sounding too, look forward to seeing your piccies here later.
All the best everyone, take care

H x.

Hi all,

Sorry I missed this, looks like a good day out. I only got back from the Highlands at 0600 Sunday morning having driven through the night.

Hope to make some ride outs in the near future and meet with the southern area folk now that I have emigrated from the Highlands. :D

Martin :thumb

Actually catching the ferry was all part of the fun when you don't have to do it as regularly as you IOW tossers.

Thanks to Chris for the suggestion and for LB, Nick and all the others for making us feel so welcome. For a small island you certainly packed in a great ride.

Andrew

Shame i missed the ride, i only managed to get out for an hour or so, 12:30 to 13:30ish, i headed out to the west wight thinking i may see you, but i guess you must've all been up on the Tennyson Trail!!!, anyway it was good to get out on the bike after months sat in the garage on the charger, maybe next time.

Shame you couldnt make it Gavin, you missed a good turn out of gs's, we certainly made an impact down at shanklin, it was nice for me not to be the only one down there for a change.
We came through from the wightmouse to the west wight after 2ish I think it was, a couple got fuel at the petrol st there opp the co-op before carrying onto Totland then Yarmouth.
Hope to do it again this yr sometime depending on when the guys and girls can make it.
If you check out the Thames Valley section there are a few more piccies there :thumb
