Audio lead question ~

I want to connect an iPod (3.5mm stereo out) to a bass guitar amplifier with a single mono 6.35mm input.

So what lead do I need in order to combine the left and right channels into one..?

This is complexified by the fact that I only have a stereo 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, and various adapters.

Ideally I want to get a good quality cable, that doesn't need an adapter at either end.

Is there anyone here that's able to make me one..?

That one's expensive enough and fine for what I need it for...
