Easy Peasy

Easiest place I have found is te pretty useless bracket between tank and front seat that, I think, is designed for the manual. If you still have the big O ring thatfits the bracket, it wraps round an Autocom a treat.

For power I originally just plugged it into the accessory socket but found it sometimes cut out when the bike was started - and stayed out. Now take the power straight from the battery (WITH IN LINE FUSE) through a relay. The relay is switched from power taken from the GPS connector which can be found semi-covered by wiring loom covering to the left of the headstock. You could just as easily power the relay from wires soldered to the back of the accessaory socket or there is also a switched supply avialable on the diagnostic socket (at rear of the tool tray).

MANY THANKS

thanks for the speedy reply job done, the hardest bit was fitting the head gear in the helmet :clap

if you do end up using 9v battery for power.......

don't worry if the sound on your walkman (assuming you use one) goes fuzzy through the autocom...it is simply a sympton of the batter going flat...just change the battery...

Not long if using Mp3 player on loud. Maybe 2 hours max from my Pro7 sport with a 9v alkaline battery, hence going over to bike power (taken from rear of on-bike auxiliary socket).
