Hi

I had my Autocom 200 system set up with my old Nokia phone, and it worked perfectly. The Autocom manual did say that the bluetooth dongle has an auto answer function, but I found that I also had to switch on the auto answer on the phone to get it to work. That done however, two rings and it kicked in. :thumb2

I've now got a new phone, a Nokia 6124 classic, and it doesn't have the auto answer function. That being the case, even though the phone and the dongle connect automatically, all I get is a distant and frustrating ring tone from the phone in my handle bar bag as the set up refuses to answer the call! It works if I physically press the key pad, but that does kind of defeat the purpose.....

Anyone any ideas?

If you have a Zumo GPS you can route the phone thru' that and press the screen to either accept or reject the call. If you haven't it would obviously be cheaper to get a phone with self answering:comfort

I think I have the answer - I have found the auto answer function on the phone. I have now activated it (man it was buried deep - no mention in the manual etc!) and if it works like the old one, this should do it. I do think the Autocam manual says to leave this off? In my experience so far, that doesn't seem to work.
