Autocom bluetooth or satnav bluetooth?

I have super pro avi 300 autocom with the autocom bluetooth dongle. I also have bluetooth on my BMW navigator 3. I have been using my phone paired to the satnav to date but I have occasionally had the odd problem such as occasionally the phone does not appear to pair up correctly or sometimes looses connection etc (though this seems to be more my phone than anything).
My question is will it make any difference pairing my phone directly to the autocom dingledongle and/or which way should it work best - paired to autocom or to satnav?
I hope you can see where I'm coming from and to be honest I have no idea if it will make any difference at all, just a thought.

Hi Chris,

Its a common problem with the Nav 3's and it not always down to the phones being used mate. You could pair your phone direct to your dongle but you will lose the feature of seeing who is calling you and who you want to call etc.
