Need some advice from you clever GS owners out there.
I currently own an Autocom Easicom v8 and have been very happy with its limited uses, but I am thinking about upgrading and purchasing either the Active-7 or Pro-7 unit instead.
I currently use the v8 for listening to music and cellphone, but I know that the Pro-7 enables auto cut-out of music when the phone rings.
I also wanted to wire up my iPaq power cable to the unit, so that it will power up when in GPS mode.
The extra cables I need to extend the main cable and power the unit from the bike is about £35.
Do the advantages of the newer units outweigh the extra costs. I don't mind the spend, but NOT if it is frivalous.
Any advise from users would be grateful.
