Autocom Duo Issue

Sitting on my bike today with the music working fine in my helmet until my son plugged the pillion in and then there was a strong constant tone in my headset and nothing in his.

Before I take it all to bits has anyone had this happen before?

sometimes happens on mine, but not with a pillion plugged in. If I unplug my cable, then switch bike off and replug all in, it goes away. Interference of some sort. Is your negative straight onto the battery.

Yes. It is straight to battery. First outing of the season so I'll have a look again tomorrow. Cheers.

Wd40 the pillion plugs - do yours as well! Almost certain to sort it

Next day. Took seat off and checked all the connections. One of the male plugs had a pin slightly bent so straightened that. All worked fine. Buggered if I know! I'll try the wd40 next. Thanks.
