I bought a Active 7 Autocom from a BMW dealer and was advised to wire the power to the unit from the rear light as withit being a 03 you can only switch the lights off with the ignition switch so this is what i did i positioned the control box on the air box but i kept getting some kind of intermittant interference that kept opening the mic i took it back to the dealer but sods law it would not do it while i was there so they could offer no advice but after getting very tits off with it i e-mailed autocom and explained what was happening and how it was wired and where it was positioned anyway to cut a long story he told me to take the power from a Green/black wire from the fuse block as it could be getting a dirty power and now its cured thanks to a very helpful man called Richard he said that there has been a few problems with twin spark bikes as they have a different wiring loom
