Autocom Power

Hi,
I've been given an Autocom Unit which I'd like to fit to my 01 R1150GS

Can anyone advise if there's an easy point to tap into a fused switched power line?

Triton, when i fitted mine to an 1100, the general opinion was to tap into the positive feed for the tail light.

This comes with the added advantage of being able to turn off the autocom via the light switch when/if your lass starts to bug ya

a popular way is via the horn fuse.

I have mine powered this way. When the ignition is switched off the power to the Autocom is cut.

What Dick Dastardly said - works just as well on the 1150 (if you have one pre hard-wired lights)

Done what Dick said on my ADV, well i did not do it i was just there as support, Works perfect.
