Looking at a K1100LT fitted with Autocom Pro-M1, the BMW stereo output has been fitted with a switch to send the music form onboard speakers to the autocom which is built in under the seat, There are no headsets with the bike, according to the manual it requires Part 10 - HS5-U1. I know these have been out of production for some time, is it possible to fit a newer 7 pin type headset to the Older Pro-M1,do not require speech or phone connections, just the headphones, will check tonight to see if they are grey or black din plugs, I think they where black 7 pin type with the 2 top pins removed, any help would be appreciated

Regards
Colin

Hi I have a Pro-M1 and it has a 5 pin din, and you can not use the newer 7 pin din but you can still buy the 5 pin din ones from autocom.:clap

You can buy a conversion lead to go from a Pro-M1 unit to a newer 7-pin headset. I've just popped into the garage to have a look at mine.
