Hi,

I've just got my new Autocom Pro AVI and fitted the headset to the helmet courtesy of help from this forum.

I bought part 1299 to connect to my Zumo 550 (which is bluetooth connected to my phone). I am aware that there is a mod to do to the circuit board to stop the audio cutting 50% when I speak when using the Zumo for the phone.

I am wondering, however, if I could plug the Zumo lead into Aux4 as from reading the instructions it appears that Aux4 doesn't mute on rider talking.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Would this allow me to listen to music on the Zumo, receive GPS instructions and also use the phone via the Zumo?

I don't really want to have to have to modify the muting on AUX2 if I can help it.

Is this a plan, or am I barking up the wrong trouser leg?

Thanks
Dae

Never mind - just found a diagram of pin-outs and realised that aux4 is not stereo.

Will have to remove the resistor from the board to disable the mute on Aux2.

dae,
google chainspeed, its a guy that used to work for autocom, and now does his own internet service, he has all the info you need

Thanks for the reply. I found a pdf with the pin-outs for the various aux ports last night and figured it out.

I bit the bullet today and ordered the bluetooth module for the autocom.

I'm gonna connect the phone to zumo via bluetooth (as it currently is), bluetooth the the autocom and then connect the 3.5mm out from the zumo mount to aux3 via the 1314 cable.
