autocom/sp3. Bettys wire ?

Autocom pro 3000 and sp3.
Does anyone know the cable reqd between these items in order to hear Bettys dulcet tones.
Autocoms lists aint very specific.
Ive already got the mp3 through the autocom. Can I have both.

Plenty info using search, but no-one mentions autocom pt numbers.
If the music lead is a 3.5 stereo plug
The sp3 socket is 2.5 mono

Can I get an 2.5 -to-- 3.5 lead, and a double adaptor?, and plug both into autocom socket.

Does that make sense to anyone ?

Yes, Yes and Yes......that's what I did with my stuff...Ring Autocom, they'll sell you the right stuff if you explain it as above, only in English....

Well sort of.......

The fart in the VW though Den is the GPS to Autocom lead....you can plug a standard 3.2 to 2.5 lead in but you'll be back on the next day moaning about interference and noise...you need a special Autocom lead that has a little black box (actually a wrapped PCB) of tricks that cuts out the intererance...then as CC said, you can plug it into a splitter to get MP3, GPs, phone and whatever into your ears.

As CC also said talk to autocom...they do know their stuff and are generally very helpful......they'll know the bit you need.

Pt no.

Part number 173 for mine.

2.5 at gps end and 3 or 3.5 at other end which plugs into the Autocom and has a thing in the middle that filters any electrical interferance out.
Expensive but works a treat.

Now using a Nav 2 and the same lead fits and works.

Also no loss in volume from Betty.
