I currently run a 2015 GSA and have the Autocom SPA fitted. It was dealer fitted along with the Bluetooth module when I bought the bike. The unit just about slides under the rear shroud from underneath the rear seat. I'm now trading in for a 2017 GSA TB and awaiting delivery. I believe there are more modules in that area which will take up scarce space. Has anyone else fitted the SPA on a 2017 and had any issues?

I am going to have the same problem in the summer when I change mine, I believe it will go in the void further back towards the rear light but you have to take it apart to get it in and it's not easy to adjust! Other option for me might be under the front seat as I have mine in the high position?

Mine fits ok in the same place on this year's bike as it did on a 2015, in fact slightly easier to fit as I didn't bother with an alarm this time.

I found that the box picked up interference under the front seat. To fit in the tail section space, if you back out the two set screws that enter from the underside of the rear unit adjacent to the indicators, bear down gently on the rear light cluster and the Autocom box slides in a treat. I normally secure them with Velcro dots. Hope this helps.

i have mine sat on top of the ECU under the rider seat - but i ride with my seat on high at the rear stops and low at the front. It is tight but it fits OK - I then have a radio in the tail section as it keeps it water tight better.

Good to know, probably a better place than under front seat (I have my disc lock there):thumb2

Roadcraft rider of this parish had a simmilar problem

I.E there is no room on the bikes that have lean sens ABS etc

He solved this problem with a little Aliminium waterproof box from Maplins that fitted really nicely in the gap under the rear rack

There is a picture of it on here somewhere

Plenty of room, I've fitted mine under passenger seat right at back (if that makes sense!). Just took rear rack off , velcro fix box in place then put rear rack on again.

I used one of Cymarc's Toolboxes that mounts behind the LHS Pannier using the pannier rack (on a GSA). This holds my Autocom and radio. The Bluetooth module just sits under the back seat.
Another option would be to use one of those boxes that mount behind the rear number plate.
