Autocom SPA rider vox sensitivity?

I have an Autocom Super Pro Automatic, brilliant piece of kit and the sound quality is superb. There's one aspect though that I find frustrating - even with the rider vox set to maximum (ie. minimum sensitivity) upwards of 60mph if I have any helmet vents open the mic triggers the system far too easily, in fact even wind noise around the helmet at 70+ is enough to trigger the vox with the vents shut. Is there a way to decrease the rider vox sensitivity beyond the maximum available on the rotary control? I actually feel that the vox sensitivity control has very little effect, minimum or maximum, the upside of course is that speech activation never fails!
Helmet is a Shoei Neotec.

Vox on the Autocom is shit. Fit a PTT switch.

Generally speaking it depends where you have your vox mic located, does affect false vox a fair bit

Isn't the vox mic the usual mouthpiece mic? I have the master sound level mic located just to the side of my left eye, that seems to work fine, if I make some loud noise, eg. shout, the master volume increases substantially then fades back to normal. Isn't it the mouthpiece mic though that is annoyingly opening the channel making me conscious of background interference when I'm not talking?

I always use PTT for bike to bike.

I am thinking but could be wrong that the master sound level mic does have an effect on the vox as well as it measures "background noise. Could be wrong but fairly sure it does mines tucked away again next to left eye but possibly further I to the lining of the helmet.

I am having to shout rather too much to open the Vox at the moment - I need to adjust it.
