After having the bike off the road for a while the speaking part of my autocom has stopped work. On investigation the helmet mic and leads are all fine (spare autocom) but the pre-2009 Super Pro AVi box has a permanent green vox light. I cannot hear myself speak but I'm stumped as to what is happening. Twiddling the vox knob has no effect. Help!

Have your headset leads been inadvertently trapped whilst it's been off the road. I believe that they can be unplugged from the circuit board inside the unit, you might want to try that :nenau

You have unplugged any accessories from the 3.5mm 4 pole jack sockets, as well as any PMR in aux#5, to eliminate them as the cause haven't you?

Most probably have been trapped. I've been fitting all sorts of electrics under the seat (spots etc). Unplugged all the other things. Off to check if you're right (and throughly quick too!).

You were right but no that. It was the lead from the Zumo that was keeping the vox on. Need to try it on a ride tomorrow but the light is at least out. Thanks
