Autocom

Now you advertise fitting of Autocom and Sat Nav systems :blast
I spent all day yesterday doing exactly that
Its all working and neatly installed but I wonder if you can tell me Why
I only have music from the Zumo in the right ear untill I open a channel
on the radio then i get muted stereo, the music will then remain stereo untill
approx 10 seconds after the channel is closed then will fade back to mono
right ear only.
I realise that you are running a buisness but any help would be appreciated:clap
Regards
Mike

Thanks Neil :thumb for the kind words hope the fuse worked for your lights! Glad your happy with the install, work seems to be tailing off a little as we head into winter, mind you its lovley day today in the east anglian area.

Mike your music lead is plugged into the wrong Aux input by the sounds of things it sounds like its plugged into the phone Aux which is mono, hence the one ear, 'maybe' try the other Aux inputs and it should solve your problem! Let me know and ill try to help out some more! What unit do you have? Each unit tends to do things differently. :thumb2

Hi Mick
I have a Super pro avi duo connected to a Zumo 550 with the lead from the Zumo plugged into Aux 2.
Mike

Hi Mike, Just outside Bedford in a town called wootton, pop in anytime! Sounds like a good setup on your bike! Your lead from the zumo assume you have isolated it useing part 4066 that connects to Aux 3 not Aux 2 common mistake :)

Mick

Your sat nav will have fun finding it at the moment (mine certainly did), rely on common sense and less on the handlebar jewellery and you'll get there and when you do the knowledge is sound and the tea is decent and forthcoming :thumb

Did this fix your problem Mike? Give me a call if you need some help! :thumb
Hi Mick
I wasn’t going to put this up on here due to acute embarrassment :toungincheek, but As you asked yes I did finally figure out why I was only getting music In one ear. :thumb2
The problem was that some Numpty namely me had copied 4 tracks
Onto the Zumo in Mono only. DUH :blast
As soon as they had finished all back to normal with stereo :clap
Thank you for taking the time to try to help much Appreciated.
Still planning to pop in for some lights and will ring as soon as
get the chance.

Hi Mike,

Sorry you dident have to say but to be honest we all have done somthing like that  lol. Also when you use the phone you lead from the Zumo must be in Aux 3 or you wont get the Microphone to work! :eek No problems trying to help, if your near and need any help just pop in for a cuppa or if you want to look at the lights first before you buy they are fitted to my Adventure. Off to Daker in 4 weeks so if your keen to have anything done best catch me before i go!

Regards

Mick
