autocom wiring

Hi have done a search, can't find a picture how to wire an autocom (active 7 )
and a quest qpac to a convenient switched live, 02 1150 with light switch.
I am terrible with wires and electrics, link to an idiots guide for an idiot pls

Hint... I wired up my positive to the feed for the pilot bulb in the headlight, then any convenient earth for the other one.. that way if you are listening to music and you need to speak to someone, or indeed someone wants to speak to you, knock the lights off and it all goes silent...

Works a treat as you have the switch.... its an easy access to get to it as well, even someone challenged in auto electrics will end up proud of themselves...

take the tank off and run the wires along the frame, and while its off snip the cable ties holding the wiring loom near to the headstock and replace with some not so snug as well

The unit will go under the seat in the tool tray if you have somewhere else to keep the tools....
