I'm sorry to have to ask this but I'm confused as to the best way to set up my comms system with a Zumo 660 and phone (iphone 4s). I'm sure many of you have achieved this quite easily, i'm just struggling to see the right/best way to do it and seem to be making it over complicated
I've had a search through the forum, read the many threads (including a great one by wiz) and even emailed Autocom. My head is battered as there is a lot of conflicting information about which autocom aux ports to use, leads and bluetooth modules etc.
I would like to be able to pair/connect things together so that whilst on the move I can use the intercom system, listen to music (either via zumo sd card or from phone), and operate my phone for calls (iphone 4s). I already have an autocom super pro automatic set up which works fine. I'm in the process of fitting a zumo 660 via the headstock canbus port, I'm just unsure how to get things connected audio-wise for the best results.
Do I need to connect both the heaphone & mic jacks from the zumo to the autocom? I see that the Zumo has 2 bluetooth channels so to speak so do I pair the phone to the Zumo and hardwire the autocom, or is it better to use a b/t module to pair the autocom to the zumo that way as well?
Before I route the cables or buy expensive bluetooth modules that I don't need can anyone offer some advice please?
