Hi Gang, if i remove the MIC from my set up will the system still work??
I ask cos i want to fit it into my Shoe-bert but i can not get the mic to stay in place even after a chat with the guys at Autocom.

Yep, it'll still work fine. I use mine without the mic most of the time. Just leave the red mic connector undone and remove the boom.

Yep, removed mine because I had to, it kept turning the music feed down with wind noise.

I fitted active plus into an arai tour x helmet, with the volume up full on both ipod and the auto com i can hardly hear anything over the wind rush. Speed no more than 60

Is this normal?
