Ps I will still be keeping an eye on here as well so there is no worries there :thumb2

Password?

I Know the answer is security,,,security!!

This is not anything that is going to affect money, identity theft etc. The profile does not have to have my name or address. I only need to put in a username and an email address (which, incidentally, is one I set up purely for forum use) so why does the forum need a complex password that includes more than one non alpha character.

I have difficulty remembering simple passwords. A complex password might satify the purists and techies but surely it is not needed in this case.

I won't be registering (what's the point, I'll only forget the password).

Tom

(First Autocom system bought in September 1993)

I agree.

I did register but I've forgotten the password already

Keep a little notebook near the computer with all your passwords in ...

Simples :thumb

No worries and I am sorry on the login and security side of things, if you could all PM (on here) me your user names I will sort out fresh passwords for you all and let you know what they are.

Hope it proves more reliable than the Autocom web enquiry system - good luck.:augie

Gossy, that has been fully sorted and was a problem that was unfortunately out of our control

Rich :beerjug:

Fully understandable Richard you couldn't answer my query if the system was playing up.

My query was that my blackberry 9000 connected to the new BT unit fine, problem being it disconnected after about 5 minutes - tried this many many times, also with my old faithfull nokia 72**

So I havent been able to use it - any ideas? could the unit be faulty?
