sorry guys another question ref autoswitch fitting on a 1200 gsa 06 model. can anyone please supply info or diagram as to wiring colour and location of components that i need to patch into.
your help is most appreciated

you have to remove the tank, there is no way round it..there are two sets of pics to follow use the set that clearly shows how to remove the red petrol tank..follow the instructions as far as stripping the throttle body. if you install the autoswitch sensor wire to the brain block connector there is no need to strip the throttle body unit.

thanx dragon will do. i'll be brave. any ideas as to where i should take me ign feed from, as i am using the acc socket for my autocom. thought about getting a fuse box from nn and wiring that to acc socket then putting autocom into fuse box wot u think???

As i said i have a bad memory (the doc told me what caused it but i cant remember ) if you have spots factory fitted, then follow the switch to the connector block there you have your earth an power (all your doin is replacing the rocker switch with the autoswitch), run the other wire to the brain connector to activate it, then run the LED wire between the forks along the wire loom to under the clocks,i am no spark but i found this easy enough,,hope this helps,, next time i take the tank off i will take pics an post them on here.... i am a scala teamset user so cant really help on the autocom side of things
