The 5NB switch is activated by pressing & holding the indicator cancel button. For the 5NB2 type Nippy Norman says
This model takes 2 quick pulses BEFORE the 1.2-10.0 second release window of the normal 5NB.
HELP!! :nenau I don`t understand!
Does that mean you press it twice quickly to activate your second circuit? Where does the 1.2-10 seconds come into it?
Ten jew berry muds in a bath :thumb

1) press it ONCE untill the LED flickers, (about 1 second or so) this indicates that the lights are now about to be switched on. If you havn't got a LED don't worry

2) release the switch

3) to turn them off do the same

From autoswitch.de

NEW: The ausotswitch 5NB2 and 5P2, a new trigger model was implemented to the switch. Two short pulses make the autoswitch switch. So 2 switches can be used on one trigger button!

I think it needs a press, release, press, release to make it work. The idea is to allow multiple relays contriolled from one button. Don't see a lot of point, meself. NippyNorman is less than clear on this, but not as bad as www.autoswitch.com which is worse than useless despite being printed on the autoswitch labels.

Tanx for replys you lot :thumb I ave spoke to Norman and he says that:
5NB = Press & hold to actuate switching circuit number 1.
5NB2 = Press & release quickly twice to actuate switching circuit number 2.
Couldn`t be simplier, once you have junked the jargon re 1.2-10secs etc etc
Right then, what else can I weigh my bike down with now I`ve order a twin relay pack for me lights? ;) do side cars need lights? :D
 all
