I have wired up an autoswitch and relay for some Micro DE fogs. Decided to test them before connecting up the lights. Problem though - autoswitch LED stays on rather than just blipping on for a second. Cancel swith does nothing.
Disconnected trigger sensor wire (Orange) which was connected to the Brown and White wire in the fuse box and then the autoswitch led works properly - ie on for a second then off - but of course no way to test switch.
Looking at Migsels diagram (I used bigtrailbikerider's instructions to wire up in fuse box- thanks
) I see that the wire order coming from the instruments up front is different to mine. Is it possible that the colouring system has changed? I have an 04 ADV.
I have a multitester - the brown/white under the fuse box appears to default to ground.
Finally I guess the autoswitch could be duff but I don't think so. Is there anything I can do with the now free ornage trigger wire to simulate the cancel button being pressed and held down?
Below is first my wiring from switchgear and then Migsel's picture from his instructions.
Cheers,
Mark

I was just a little confused... What can I say... years of abuse take their toll on a fellow ....
