Aux lights / DRL's on an '05 RT

Having owned a Harley Ultra Classic and an R1200GS both fitted with aux lights. I am looking to fit some to my RT for those SMDSY moments. When I was at RTTW I saw a pan and an RT fitted with some flush mounted/fitted lowish down on the fairing like a an oem item, but didn't get chance to have a closer look.

I also remember reading a thread on a forum not sure if it was on here where they were mounting using stainless spacers and utilising the lower fairing mounting bolt.

Any help and advice appreciated as usual.

That was probably my thread- another forum member added some pics of his RT with a similar set-up.
Pop and have a look if you like, I am only 5 miles away.

Cheers for that it's going to be my project over winter so got to aquire the parts first and then sort it out. Getting a couple of bits powder coated so would get the mounts done at same time.
I'll PM you at some point to come and have a look at your set up, on 12 hour shifts at the moment.
