Can anyone confirm if the feed to the main(high) beam is the white wire?

Also is it necessary to run the return earth from the headlight back to terminal 85 on the relay?

In answer to my own questions.

1) Yes the white wire is the supply for the main (high) beam.

2) NO. ran an earth direct to the battery neg.

Lights work fine. Daylight even in the deepest darkest night
