Aux plug

I am wiring up my Autocoms as i type and have hit a problem! i have read in threads that a lot of people seem to use the Aux power socket as is is supposed to power down when ignition off. mine is live all the time. got a GSA 05 anyone help me as to whats going on? where else can i wire to?

AFAIK it's the latest 12's that have the time delay off function and not the 1150 / GSA. Also AFAIK the latest Autocoms have a power off function when you disconnect the helemt lead.

Otherwise, find an ignition switched live feed that doesn't mess with the ABS brakes logic (assuming you've got ABS).

Cheers for that John. Maybe i should get me one of those helemt lead thingys. I have gone ahead and wired it to the Aux plug and like you say the helmet plug switches it off so fingers crossed it be ok.
