Wanted to add some auxiliary lights to avoid becoming invisible at night with following traffic. Didn't fancy the usual suspects - too big and pricey so I fitted a set of these:

£20 on ebay

Soldered them on to one of these: Nippy Normans sat nav plug (£15) but could have connected them to the headlamp - chose not to in case I wanted to remove them later on.

Stuck them onto the hand guards using the double sided tape (strong stuff so confident it'll hold).

Cable tied the wires down the brake hoses and then to the oil cooler bracket before plugging in to the sat nav connector.

End result works for me:

Lights stay on for one minute after ignition is switched off, but that suits me as I can find my way out of the garage at night!

I bet the glare-back from the screen fucks up your night vision something chronic

I've done something very similar, but I went way further out and around the handguards, using flexible LED tape rather than a rigid item.

Haven't ridden it in anger yet but not noticed much glare back.

Show us some pics of you flexible tape then
