I've recently installed Motech upper crash bars on my r1200gs and had to remove my auxiliary lights to do so. I've been searching for a bracket to fit the lights back onto the bike, ideally onto the crash bars. The bracket for the light goes from side to side rather than back to front. I was trying to add a pic of the light but can't do it in here. Any ideas anyone, many thanks Bill?

Let me have your email address and I'll send some bracket pictures over

There's a mounting point under the front fender where you can mount a bar and put the lights there as well...

Something like this:

I algo have crash bars and I think that's the way I'll go. They're a bit more protected in case the bike decides to chill out on her side... :P

What year of GS? For 2008 to 2012 SW Motech do make a foglight bracket for their upper bars. Alternatively, use the two spare holes on the cross-brace to hang a length of square-section steel from.

Thanks Bear.

Thanks Bear, I did look to see if SW Motech did something but couldn't see it. I also asked Nippy Norman but nothing doing. Thanks for the info much appreciated - Bill

These look perfect same kind of fittings as my spots! Sorry if I'm being thick do I get these from Twisted Throttle? Thanks for taking the time to respond it's much appreciated - Bill

How about P clips? The stainless type are bit thin but two will fit under one plastic sleeve. The bolt is a bit fiddly to get through but will pull up really solid.
