Auxiliary socket?????

I was following back along the cable from the sat nav cradle to see where it could be removed(possible fitting Tom Tom) and in behind the little cover there is a small connector skt very similar to the one that was fitted under the headlight on the twin cam.
I wonder if it is the same ????
Won't know unless we can get a wiring diagram in the future......

Yes, the socket that is fitted to my TE to supply the factory fit GPS mount has proved to be similar to the other BMW models. Opened the connection and tried a BMW female connector I had previously used on a GSA just to be sure. I've used the switched live to power my Autocom unit.
