AVG Free - How do I turn it off ?

Morning all,

I am loading some software on a PC which is not currently connected to my network, they suggest temporarily turning off anti virus & firewall. It's probably staring me in the face but I can't see how to turn off AVG , can somebody point me in the right direction please ?

Right-click on the wee AVG coloured square down in the right-hand corner by the clock and select "Quit AVG control centre". That should do it.

I have AVG free version and I never bother turning it off. No problems so far...............!!!!!!!!!!

As Longdog says, AVG has never interfered incorrectly with any software I've loaded. It did once refuse to do so with a CD application donated by 'a friend' which had a virus on it !
