Aviation day for us this Saturday.
We started at the AutoGiro experience just outside Rufforth, where they have a small museum, the twin seat open cockpit Autogiros are probably the closest thing you can get to aero motorcycling. There is a nice café on site so you can sit and watch the Autogiros and the Microlights take off and land.
Next visit was the Sutton Bank gliding club, a café in the control tower is open to visitors. The grubs great and it probably has the best views in Yorkshire.
Next time we will start at Breighton airfield and see the Real Aeroplane company's collection.
(sorry we don't include Elvington in this type of ride, its so good it takes up all day leaving no time for riding)
